Orkney Day Trip: booking can be amended (dependant on availability) or cancelled up to 7 days in advance. Any bookings amended after this time are non-refundable.

Private Tour: a non-refundable £125 deposit will be required at time of booking. Private tours can be amended (dependant on availability) or cancelled up to 6 weeks in advance - this must be done in writing or by email. Tours cancelled within six weeks of departure are non-refundable. Full payment must be made at least 8 weeks before departure date via our website unless otherwise agreed. Full payment is required at time of booking for if departure date is within 8 weeks of booking.

Travel Insurance and Tour Disruption whilst not on Orkney: Tour Orkney advises that you purchase travel insurance in the event that adverse weather/ferry disruption/cruise ship cancellation/injury or any other unforeseen circumstances makes you unable to attend the tour. Tour Orkney will not be responsible for any losses, injuries or damages.

If full payment for private tour is not received within 8 weeks of booking, Tour Orkney reserves the right to cancel.

Tour disruption when in Orkney: in the event that a site/visit is unable to go ahead due to unforeseen circumstances on the day, Tour Orkney will offer to amend and adapt the itinerary or offer a refund.

Site Visits and Personal Safety: many of the sites on Orkney have rough paths and access. It is up to an individual to decide whether or not a site is safe for them to visit and their level of personal fitness and health. Tour Orkney can not be held responsible nor cover liability for any accidents/incidents arising from an individual choosing to visit the sites.

Client Behaviour: we reserve the right to remove anyone from the tour who is acting in a way that endangers them or other members of the group, or in anyway affects other guests negatively. It is expected that guests will behave in a civil and respectful manner to the other guests and the guide.

 

Grumpiness is strongly discouraged.

Smoking is not allowed within or outside the vehicle.
