Ferry & Cruise Safe Cancellation Policy

🛳️ Full refund if your ferry, flight or cruise ship can’t reach Orkney.
No admin fees, no stress. This guarantee makes booking with us completely risk-free.

Safety at Sites

Orkney’s ancient monuments often have uneven ground, rough paths, or low entrances. We’ll always give clear guidance, but visitors are responsible for deciding what is safe for them, based on their own fitness and health. Tour Orkney cannot accept liability for accidents arising from personal choices to access sites.

General Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel for reasons not covered by our Ferry & Cruise Safe Guarantee, please let us know as soon as possible. We aim to be flexible and, wherever possible, will re-schedule your booking or offer a fair refund.

Cancellations & changes (you cancel)
• More than 4 weeks (28+ days) before the tour: Full refund, minus any non-refundable third-party tickets you asked us to buy.
• Within 4 weeks (0–27 days): No refund, unless your flight is cancelled, your cruise cannot dock, or your ferry cannot reach Orkney on the day (then our guarantee applies: 100% refund).
• Rescheduling: Requests >4 weeks before are subject to availability; ≤4 weeks are treated as a cancellation (rules above).

Conduct on Tour

Smoking is not permitted inside or outside the vehicle.
Grumpiness is strongly discouraged — we’re here for good days and good stories.
