Included / not included • Included: private guiding by a local expert; private, comfortable minibus (up to 8). Tickets/entrances are included where stated on your confirmation. • Otherwise not included: entrances/tickets, meals/refreshments, gratuities. Pick-ups & returns Kirkwall hotels, Stromness, cruise pier, airport, or your accommodation. Ferry-friendly: we can meet the morning NorthLink and return you for the evening sailing. Cruise-friendly: pier pick-up/drop-off with buffers for a timely return to ship. Our guarantees • Ferry & Cruise Safe Guarantee: If your ferry, flight, or cruise ship cannot reach Orkney on the day, you get a 100% refund (no admin fees). • Weather-Proof Pledge: If a site closes or conditions change, we substitute excellent alternatives and keep your day outstanding. • Crowd-Smart Promise & Local Insight Guarantee as stated on our site. Cancellations & changes (you cancel) • More than 4 weeks (28+ days) before the tour: Full refund, minus any non-refundable third-party tickets you asked us to buy. • Within 4 weeks (0–27 days): No refund, unless your flight is cancelled, your cruise cannot dock, or your ferry cannot reach Orkney on the day (then our guarantee applies: 100% refund). • Rescheduling: Requests >4 weeks before are subject to availability; ≤4 weeks are treated as a cancellation (rules above). Cancellations & changes (we cancel) In the rare event we must cancel (e.g., unsafe weather/vehicle issues), you’ll receive a full refund or the option to rebook. We aren’t liable for extra costs (travel, accommodation, etc.). Late arrivals 20-minute grace from the confirmed start time. Beyond this we may shorten the tour to protect key timings. 60+ minutes late without contact may be a no-show. Group, children, accessibility Up to 8 guests. Children welcome; legally compliant child seats are required—bring your own or request in advance. Short walks on uneven paths; some low doorways/steps. Tell us your needs and we’ll adapt. Health & safety Seat belts must be worn while the vehicle is moving. Dress for wind/changeable weather; sturdy waterproof footwear recommended. Tickets & timings Pre-purchased tickets may be non-refundable per the venue’s policy if you cancel. Conduct & care We may refuse service where behaviour risks safety or damages sites/vehicle. Insurance, privacy & law We recommend travel insurance. We’ll ask before taking identifiable photos. Your data is handled per our Privacy Policy. Governed by Scots law.
